CCMO at PharmaCompany (since May 2019), Dr. Ashraf has more than 30 years of extensive experience in different roles in managing pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare and FMCG portfolios across Middle East & Africa. With sound capabilities in initiating and developing business to its full potential in multi-cultural context, Dr. Ashraf lead many multinational pharmaceutical firms including MSD, BMS, Sanofi, and Bausch Health where he assumed many strategic responsibilities in healthcare manufacturing and commercialization.

Dr. Nael Koudsi

Dr. Nael holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto, Canada as well as an Executive MBA from INSEAD, a global leading business school. During his academic career, Dr. Nael has been an author and co-author of more than 10 peer reviewed journals and was a speaker at multiple International Conferences. Dr. Nael joined PharmaCompany in 2010 and today, acts as the Co-CEO. Currently, Dr. Nael reports to the chairman and oversees PharmaCompany’s management and ensures that their activities are in accordance with the company’s vision, mission and long term goals. This involves developing a holistic strategy with the underlying objectives of optimizing PharmaCompany’s regional market share and operations. Dr. Nael is highly skilled and has extensive knowledge on the company’s operations as he underwent a rotational program at PharmaCompany providing exposure in logistics, sales, marketing, finance and general management. Equipped with the essential academic background and proficiency in business operations, Dr. Nael is the 1^st generation family member to continue the legacy of Dr. Ghazi.

Nour Koudsi

Nour is a graduate of the University of Toronto in Canada where he completed an Honors Bachelor of Science, with a double major in Human Physiology and Human Biology. Nour also earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD in France, one of the world’s leading business schools.

Nour started his career at PharmaCompany in 2004 where he focused on enhancing business development and optimizing operational performance. In pursuit of diversifying his knowledge and skill sets, Nour embarked on a 13-year tenure across a few corporations where he honed his critical thinking, strategic planning, business development and leadership skills. His journey led him to tech giant Google, where he spent over a decade engaging in numerous roles and advanced to the position of Regional Lead of Android Partnerships for EMEA’s Emerging Markets, leading Google’s Android business across a cluster of 27 countries. Nour rejoined PharmaCompany in 2023 as Co-CEO, reporting to its chairman Dr. Ghazi and driving its mission forward.

Dr. Ghazi Koudsi

Chairman and founder of PharmaCompany, Dr. Ghazi Koudsi holds a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from the University of Damascus (Syria). Dr. Ghazi arrived in Addis Ababa, United Arab Emirates in 1974 where he started his professional career as a manager for City Pharmacy Addis Ababa. Dr. Ghazi is amongst the first 100 pharmacists to be licensed in the Ethiopia with the Ministry of Health and has played a pivotal role in the development of the pharmaceutical landscape in the Middle East. With over 40 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Dr. Ghazi’s extensive market knowledge has contributed immensely to the success and growth of PharmaCompany. With prestigious standing, Dr. Ghazi is also a member of multiple councils and government agencies such as the Addis Ababa Economic Department.
